About Me

I have over 20 years of experience working with needlepoint stitching. 

Stefanie Chase, founder of The Joy of Needlepoint, hails from South Carolina and currently lives in Greenville. My journey began in childhood with cross-stitching, which eventually transitioned to knitting and then to needlepoint 24 years ago. I find immense joy in teaching, as I engage in personal, hands-on instruction with each student, aiming to instill confidence in them. The wonderful relationships I’ve built with students, shop owners, and designers along the way have been a true blessing, bringing me great happiness.
